Limited to just four photographers, we'll maintain a small footprint while tracking large game, predators, and birds of prey. Enjoy a collaborative, non-stop search for some of the nation's biggest, most dramatic mammals in the Lamar Valley and the Yellowstone Valley. Travel in the comfort of a Suburban for four solid days, focusing all senses on sighting wildlife and making images.
The Experience
We’ll stage our photography directly from a comfortable SUV, with optional short hikes into prime habitat areas. We will split our time between:
The "Serengeti of North America": Scouting the Lamar Valley for Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Bison, Mule Deer, Coyotes, and Red Foxes.
Hikes for birding and scenics Photographing the Dippers, Magpies, Clark's Nutcrackers, Ravens, and Bald or Golden Eagles.
Silver Gate: Venturing to the northeast corner of the park to seek Grizzly Bears and huge Bull Bison.
What’s Included
Duration: 5 nights of lodging and 4 full days (+) of exploration and image-making. (+ Plus arrival afternoon photographing in route from Bozeman and Gardiner and the early morning tretun on the 10h)
Transportation: All ground transportation and fuel costs.
