Our Tours:
Thank you for your interest in a Lowcountry photo adventure! Please find the tour details below:
Tour Overview:
Our Lowcountry wildlife tours typically last three hours and are limited to four guests. Operating aboard an 18-ft Yamaha G3 during the best light of the day, we explore remote habitats to observe diverse wildlife, including water birds, birds of prey, and marine life.
Whether you are a novice or an experienced photographer, these tours offer the opportunity to improve your technical skills and natural history knowledge. During the session, we will discuss gear, share photography tips, and demonstrate conservation-conscious techniques for safely approaching wildlife in their natural environment.
Timing and Scheduling:
Tour times are determined by tide cycles and weather, with exact times set one week prior to departure. Generally, we head out during the first three or last three hours of daylight. We publish a monthly tour calendar at www.horanphoto.com where you can view and book available dates. For bookings beyond the current or upcoming month, please email me directly.
Pricing and Deposits:
- Private Tours: 1 person ($350), 2 people ($200 each), 3 people ($150 each), 4 people ($125 each).
- Mixed Group Tours: If you don't have a full group, you can reserve a date for a $50 deposit. I will canvas my mailing list to find others to join. If only one other person joins, you can split the $400 boat fee, or you may choose to convert to a private tour ($350).
